Suzanne Adan: Artist Narrative
The obsessive use of technique and texture are important elements in creating my narrative paintings and drawings. Fragments of imagery, bits and pieces of information—sometimes related, sometimes unrelated and sometimes autobiographical—are applied on canvas, paper or other surfaces. Upon completion, it all becomes a narrative story, woven together like a tapestry, filled with figures, objects, and symbols in disjointed scenes and landscapes.
